Colorado College

Challenge
Technology has dramatically changed the way we teach and learn, yet technology is only as empowering as the person trained to use it. Classrooms on the Colorado College campus were equipped with varying technologies that made it difficult for professors and instructors to master fully. The college needed an easy-to-use, common presentation system to be used across classrooms to ensure the effective adoption of technology in education delivery.

Solution
Working in conjunction with Colorado College's Media Services Department, 5280 Digital crafted a simple yet robust technology infrastructure for Colorado College classrooms. We installed portable video modules that allowed instructors to connect their laptops to mounted projectors. In addition to providing the technology to deliver presentations from their laptops, we also supplied the tools to allow the integration of other media sources including video, DVD, and satellite feed.

Results
This successful installation allows Colorado College to deliver educational experiences from beyond the four walls of the classroom. Professors quickly adopted the shared and simple set-up, and the technology investment has furthered the college's reputation in education delivery excellence.
