5280 Broadcast, Inc. announces the opening of a satellite office in the South-Central US area on June 1, 2009

The new office is designed to provide system integration, equipment sales, and engineering services to television broadcasters in the South Central United States including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and surrounding areas.

 Jon Ulfsrud, a 27-year broadcast industry veteran whose resume includes industry leaders such as Harris, Thomson/Grass Valley, and Quantel, joins 5280 Broadcast to manage the new location.

5280 Broadcast chose to expand in this region not only to service the Dallas market, but to assist the region’s many small and mid-sized market stations.  In this rapidly evolving digital era, broadcasters are in need of the technical resources necessary to remain competitive.  5280 Broadcast delivers competitive technologies making it possible for a broadcaster compete and stay within budget. 5280 Broadcast also provides the expertise and solutions needed for the implementation of emerging technologies such as mobile delivery and high definition local production.

The opening of the Dallas office marks 5280 Broadcast’s second major expansion in just over two years, following its acquisition of Broadcast Technical Services in April of 2007.
